JEE Advanced - Joint Entrance Exam Advanced

JEE Advanced is one of the most prestigious and challenging entrance exams in India. It is conducted for admission to the undergraduate programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top engineering institutes. JEE Advanced is the second phase of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), with JEE Main being the first phase. Only candidates who qualify in JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, and the top 2,50,000 JEE Main candidates are shortlisted to take the exam.

JEE Advanced assesses candidates on their in-depth understanding and problem-solving ability in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam is highly competitive, with a limited number of seats available in the IITs. JEE Advanced is known for its rigorous exam pattern, which consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2), each of 3 hours duration. These papers feature a mix of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical-based questions to test candidates’ analytical and conceptual skills.

The exam is held once a year, and the results are crucial for securing admission to undergraduate programs in IITs and ISM Dhanbad. It is essential for aspiring engineers to perform well in JEE Advanced to secure a seat in the prestigious IITs and other participating institutions.
